Yep, nice to see everything is well :).
I will have to keep a lookout for the show on Australian television, at least on the free to air networks as this is all I have to watch. It all looks quite interesting, I hope and seem to think everything will go well with it, looks quite promising to me anyhows.

I must say that your experience, and in no way equal to that of mine, somewhat reminds me of the time when I was little and my mum took me to the dentist to get a tooth pulled out, but when we got there I was so scared and would not sit in the seat and I remember the dentist chasing me around the room trying to catch me.
Right after this my mum took me to the hospital just over the road, which I remember they were really nice and put me to sleep, and when I woke up everything was done :). Well I remember having count to one hundred, but I think I only ever got to around ten.
I just didn't trust that dentist, glad I ran away from them now as maybe it would have been a whole different experience if I hadn't.

On "The View" you came across as an idiot and a total bitch. Just because you can a dry socket and they had to "drill into your jaw" does not mean they got it totally wrong. You have no idea what you are talking about. And when you said you didn't belong in the hospital with "THOSE PEOPLE" you sounded like you thought you are better than everyone else. Well, you're not!!!
The comment that you found you don't belong with "those people" is one of the most offensive things I've heard a celebrity say in recent years. Nobody is better than anyone else....you wouldn't say that about somebody with physical ailment, would you? Nobody asks for to be sick, and most people have some degree of a mental illness somewhere in life. Comments like that spread hatred... it's not nice thing to do.

Firstly she doesn't belong with those people she is not pyschotic.
Secondly apart from a few bumps in the row, she has been an amazing role model and I think she sounds very responsible on the view.
Thirdly if you are not ready to support her or give her CONSTRUCTIVE criticism then you should not be on her blog.

Wow - update heaven!!!!!....
While I couldn't watch the interview on the TV, as I'm UK-based, I did watch it on YouTube as soon as possible. I think it's definitely one of your best ever interviews - And well done for being so honest and open about what happened to you!
And as I've said here many times before, please don't take any notice of those here who only have bad things to say about you. For every one of them, there's dozens of us here who support you and just want to wish you the best in everything you do.

Imho i think you totally misunderstood what she's said, saying "i'm nothing like these people" she's been motivating herself to fight with her breakdown (as she stated). Friend of mine suffered from leukemia but luckily he's recovered and he was motivating himself like Mischa did, such a behaviour is so important in medical treatment. Saying to yourself "I'm stronger or I'm better that anyone" gives you much-needed boost of energy to your organism. Maybe she bumped into some real wackos and just thought "Gosh, I really do not fit in here, I'm nothing like these ppl", anyway I'm so pleased hearing she's doing great. Needless to say, she looks adorable. P.S. - This captcha thing piss me off ;)
I am floored by your comments. You don't belong with "those people" because they are to good for you. My 17 daughter who recently graduated from high school as an NHS member, National Merit Scholar, lacrosse player, swimmer and overall popular girl suffers from depression and has been in the hospital, the same as you. However, she admits her pain and is trying to heal with the help of doctors and does not go around putting other people down. You need to apologize and more importantly you need to spend time helping others and learn empathany. There are more important traits to have in a person than a pretty smile. My family WONT be watching your new show.
Obviously chris, you do not understand what she has been through she had an awful summer being hospitalised and everything. By saying that she doesn't belong with those people she is trying to disasociete herself with her rough patch, she is not saying that she is above and beyond them. ALso mischa has done much more then have a pretty smile. She is the speaker or the face for many different charities and she has done many amzing things for society. She has worked extremely hard to get where she is and you should not put her down as she can't help she was born to be stunningly beautiful.

And I think that a lot of people have misunderstood her comments on the interview and jumped to hasty conclusions. You do have to wonder just how these people who are so quick to criticise Mischa would go on themselves if put in her situation and made to talk about it on live national TV - I'm sure they'd also say a few things that would maybe come across wrong or be misunderstood by people watching them....

Hey this is not a competition between Mischa's supporters and enemies...you got it all wrong...But is important to use words with respect
I like to debate, here is my opinion
Interview (and sometimes monologue): to defensive, you dont have to give explanations of what you do or you dont, unless is reaaallllyy necessary. Sometimes it started to sound like a defense and that those women were all mighty judges (you transform them into that)
Happiness is a path you have to walk alone, so when you say (if i remeber well) "Im so fine", my experience say to me "SHE IS WRONG" and, by the way, it does not matter because it is normal, Iam not judging here (who am I to do that??), only giving an opinion If you state of mind depends on work, teeth, overwhelming forces, the you must work "inner strenght.
Another thing, dont be disrispectful in the interview, perhaps you did not realise but there are a few people here that were a little bit angry

debra, i can't agree with you more. ever since i saw her on the view on friday i'm been so angry inside. how dare she "those people." i have 2 brothers with mental illness and it has nothing to do with being able to control your mind or having a career. ugh! she made me so mad. its because of ignorant people like her that mental illness still has such a sterotype attached to it. if you had asthma or any other illness you wouldn't say you can control it. same with mental illness, your brain is an organ just like the rest in our bodies that sometimes can't function properly. thank you for your comment, i'm glad i'm not the only one that caught what she was saying.
wow people amaze me constantly. If you do not agree with any of the things that have been said to completely contradit your pointless battering of mischa then lets go back to the basics. Does mischa really seem like the kind of person who would perposely be mean about mental illness? No she is (from what I have read about her) a great loving person who helps out many charities and plays a crucial role in many of them. Do you really think after all of this she would dismiss suffering and be callous about it? obviously not. So you either don't understand what she has been through and the techniques she is trying to use to get out a bad part of her life or you just feel pleasure from insulting her because of some unknown reason or you really have a lack of understanding in general. The fact is that misha is a generous person who has done so much for the poor and children and various other people, why would she do this if she was ignorant and didn't care? The fact is that you are the one being unreasonable.
Mischa: I admire you so much and understand all you've been through. I can understand your situation much better then most people as I was hospitalised for a whole 2 years of my life when I had a life-threatening condition called lymphangectagia and I pray every day that I will never have to go through that again. I try to leave those days behind and I hope you will continue to try to do so no matter what some people say.

Erica: It's such a nonsense to say that you can't control an illness, so it means that when I have runny nose I have to live with it to the rest of my life and I can nothing do about it? In general, nowadays being a human means you can control more and more, especially in medicine. I would say and I'm positive that we can control any ilness making it more or less severe. Even those incurable, there's always a certain amount of influence over even terminal diseases. So unless you're not mentally incapacitated (extreme psycho,lack of self-awareness), it's always up to you wheter or not you want to be cured. Overall conclusion from this inteview should be (it may sound cliche but it's true) that if you want you can overcome any obstacle rather than Mischa's altered our thinking about mentally ill people - because she's not.

I just wanted you to know that I believe you. I went through a similar incident & got dry socket twice--first when a tooth was extracted & second when I had my wisdom teeth surgically removed. The dentist did a horrible job with the surgery, and I still have occasional pain because of it. My dry socket lasted weeks & the pain was unrelenting--no prescribed pain meds helped, not even narcotic pain killers. I'm glad you got through it--take care and best wishes!

Were glad to hear from you, for what you went through during your ordeal with wisdom teeth which is not pleasant with a dry sucket. If you have never had this experience you people out there then you would not know how painful it can be. Anyway we are praying for you and your family so you would experience the true love of God in your life and the comfort that you can receive from him in times like these. We wish the best for you.
