Last night I attended a charity event hosted by Kevin Spacey in London.
It was a private dinner in support of the Ecology Trust and the
Aspinall Foundation at Ormeley Lodge.
The Ecology Trust distributes funds to frontline and unsung organizations battling to protect the environment, both domestically and globally. Whereby the Aspinall Foundation is a charity that sets out to protect threatened species such as elephant, rhino, cheetah, chimpanzee, mountain gorilla, African wild dog, and marine species such as the sea turtle.
It was incredible meeting Kevin Spacey. He's a wonderful actor and I truly admire his work. It was an honor to have been invited to his event not to mention the fact that it was for such a worthy cause.

Seriously, though, you're so right, both about the charities and Kevin Spacey. He's a really amazing guy, and both of the charities are really deserving too. All too often, we find ourselves donating to conservation charities involved in big projects overseas, but ignore the problems we have here at home (wherever that may be). I live very close to the Peak District, which is one of the most popular national parks in the UK, and that has a big problem balancing the needs of the natural environment with those of the visitors who come to the park to enjoy the scenery. And, while those visitors bring much-needed money into the area, they also end up doing a lot of damage to the local ecology - including starting fires on the moors, leaving litter behind which then ends up hurting wildlife, or even just wearing away the footpaths through the sheer numbers of feet passing along them. So we do need charities which support domestic, as well as international, projects. As for the other charity, well, a world without animals like elephants, chimps and gorillas would be a much sadder and duller place...
I hope your involvement with this event helps bring even more publicity to the causes involved. The fact that you not only went to the event, but have also posted here about it, shows once again that you really do care about subjects like these, and want to use your position to help tell others about them. And that's yet another of the things that we really love about you - you're a genuine and caring person, and you really do care about the world we live in and what happens to it in the future. So thank you once again for being you, and please don't ever change what you truly believe in your heart!!

I'm pleased that you know each other with Kevin Spacy, because I think he's a great actor and a powerful person and it may be good for you.
But, in the photo, I noticed Kevin Spacy was leaning his head to your direction. It was on purpose. And I noticed your hair was completely touching his jacket! I bet he was much pleased with it in his heart. I would be so, too. I guess he won't wash the jacket for a long time.
