That's a really great article, and some fantastic pictures - You really do look amazingly beautiful in them (which you do all the time anyway, but...)

And it's great that you feel so comfortable with your body. Sadly, nowadays, there's far too many girls and women who are unhealthily obsessed with being "perfect", and think that they have to meet some sort of societal norm. And, as a result, they put themselves through all kinds of torture, just so that they can reach that image of "perfection" - Except, of course, that most of them never do, and so end up feeling depressed and unhappy with themselves. So it really is great that you have the guts to stand up and say things like this because, whether you like it or not, you ARE a role model to lots of younger women and girls. So doing something like this lets them know that they don't have to be "perfect", and it's OK to have those little flaws that make us all who we are. And the same should also go for guys too. If you've ever seen my picture on Twitter (I'm "Meeshluv" there, BTW, and it's not the best picture of me...), you'll know I'm no Brad Pitt, but I'm happy with what I've got, and don't feel the need to change anything about myself - OK, maybe I need to work at being a bit fitter, but that's just in order to be healthier and I'd certainly never be one of those obsessive body-builders or anything like that! I learned the hard way a long time ago that the most important thing in life is to be happy with yourself and the way you are, and that other people's opinions of you are much less important than most people seem to think they are. So I really do think its great that you've done this, and hope that others can understand why you've done it...

U hear that Lady, her name is Susan Boyle, she on the BRITAINS GOT TALENT 2009 SUSAN BOYLE (SINGER). My mom saw her on the news... She 47 years old. I walk into my dad shop... My mom hey come see this, my mom was on youtube watching her... Oh my gosh, Mischa... She was amazing! She give me the chils. i wanted to cry, after all three judges give her a YES... she going to be on the show. It made me mad, that people were lauging at her at first. But, moment she walk on the stage, I knew something would be great. She lives in village... Yeah!!! Anyways, she just amazing! This is coming from a girl who leaves in Texas in U.S.!

I love you, and you're so beautiful but I was a little disappointed that you were nude. There is so much beauty in you, especially when u have clothes on. Now don't get me wrong, but being naked is not the only way to be comfortable and I think that sends the wrong message to the people who look up to you.
Girls all over America feel ugly, fat, and just unperfect. I have to agree with Adrian that so many girls have an unhealthy obsession with being perfect. I am glad that you are comfortable with who you are and how you look,
But young girls think that the only way to be recognized is if they post nude, racey, skanky pictures of themselves on their myspace or facebook. I have an incredible smile my friends tell me, I don't need to be naked to show my beauty. But beauty isn't always about how you look naked. True beauty is about what is on the inside,
As the big role model you are, i would have expected something different, Something that shows how awesome you look in a tee shirt and sneakers with that incredible smile of yours.
you don't always have to look sexy to be pretty.

Please dont let the media scrutiny ever get to you. They will rip you to shreds just for their own selfish gain and then there are some who will just do it for the twisted pleasure of hurting you so they can feel good about their own messed up life. I'm not usually one of those people who go on celebrity blogs or have their posters up in their rooms or queu in line for endless hours to get a concert tiket or something. I admire the love and devotion people give unconditionally to their idols, though I must say I never had one myself.
Nevertheless, you have come the closest to being someone to whom I would look up to a lot.
Posing nude was a fantastic idea, like you said, it shows you are comfortable in your owm skin and believe me, you have nothing to be ashamed of.
I'm sorry celebrities and icons like yourself are constantly watched under a magnifiying glass by society, they don't unerstand that you are normal humans like ourselves, with a lot of talent and very pretty. And no one has the right to criticise you for having a bit of cellulite (who doesn't fall into the temptation of chocolate and staying at home for the day) or going out with your friends and maybe getting drunk: who didn't when they were young?
I admire immensily your fashion taste: the bags, the accesories, the glasses, the small details, all of it! Mostly, I think it's the accessories and the small things you tend to use that make your style so unique.
