March 2009 Archives

So I had a little time between rehearsals and fittings and what not so I wanted to do a quick post!

About a month or two ago, Oscar Generale was nice enough to invite me in to his beautiful showroom to have a look around!  I got some amazing stuff and was so impressed with all he had to offer!

I brought a camera along so I could share the experience with all of you!

Hey guys!
So I just arrived in Montreal on Monday to film my new CW pilot "A Beautiful Life."  It's feels great to be back on set again. I really like the structure that series television brings to my daily schedule. Couldn't have written a better-suited project myself.

I've always enjoyed fashion and now I get to play a character who's immersed in it.  Pretty cool having Ashton Kutcher to report to as well since he's producing it.

I'll be in Montreal until April 9th when shooting wraps but I'll keep all of you posted on how everything is going!

Also, just wanted to share the above clip from The Hollywood Reporter with you :)

For those of you who have been following MischaBarton on Twitter, I just wanted to let you know that that wasn't me.  I'm not exactly sure who was running that account -- all I know is that I JUST joined Twitter this past Monday.

My user name is THEREALMISCHA and I'll be keeping all of you up to speed as often as I possibly can.  I'm so busy right now and I'm still trying to get the hang of the whole Twitter idea, hopefully I'll figure it all out soon enough :)

So follow THEREALMISCHA on Twitter!!!!

Hey everyone.  I was recently at the P3R showroom stocking up on jewelry and accessories (as you might have seen in a video I posted) before New York Fashion Week.  They were so generous and gave me way too much stuff, so I wanted to share some of the pieces with you!

I'll be giving away three scarves and one hat, which I've included photos of in the gallery.  I will then be choosing four winners, so go HERE to enter my D&Y giveaway contest!

To see more cute accessories like these, go to D&Y's official site!

So I read through all of your comments and I've selected two winners for my self-portrait polaroid giveaway contest!

Congratulations to Simon from London, England and Kyle from Brooklyn, New York!!!  I loved both of your comments regarding what you're looking forward to most about Spring, and I appreciate your support on my site!  I'll be sending out the photos to each of you within the next few days so keep checking your mailboxes!

Thank you so much to everyone that left their comments -- every single one was fantastic and I loved reading all of them!  There will be plenty more giveaways to come so keep checking back.  xoxo

Last night I hosted BlackBook Magazine's Red Hot Hollywood party at the Sunset Marquis.  As I showed you in a previous post, I did a spread in this month's Hollywood Fashion issue which was revealed at the party.

A lot of great people came out for the event and the venue looked beautiful!  Rony Alwin, a fantastic photographer, covered the event.  Here are a bunch of the photos he took.

You can see the rest of the photos from the party on his website, RonysPhotoBooth.com.

I'm sure you guys are all going to hear about it soon enough so I just wanted to tell you what is real first -- I broke up with Luke when I got to London. Things just didn't feel quite right. There was no cheating or anything terrible, the bad just started to outweigh the good and a long distance relationship is never an easy thing to do.

Hey guys.  So as I'm sure you all already know, music plays a huge role in my life, so I thought it might be cool to start posting a musician or a band of the week.  This week my pick is John Fogerty. He's an oldie but definitely a goody!

A lot of people aren't schooled on him but his music is definitely incredible -- I've been
obsessing over a lot of his songs lately.  I don't listen to much country music but I love good country rock 'n' roll, which is definitely the genre I would classify his music under.

Here are three songs that I recommend you check out.

  1. It Ain't Right
  2. Vanz Kant Danz
  3. Don't You Wish It Was True
Watch the music video for Don't You Wish It Was True.

Let me know what you think after you check out these songs.  Do you have any good country rock suggestions for me?
