Too Fat, Too Thin: Here's What I Think...

Hi again, Mischa!

Well, I'm glad to see you addressing these stories here on your site. On Jo's forum, we always hate to see people having a go at you over being (as they see it) either too fat or too thin. Whenever we find blogs etc where they're doing that, we always try to post comments there to try and set the record straight and point out just how stupid they're being... And it really does make us mad to see them doing it, because it seems like it's a "no-win" situation for you. One week, you're too thin and need to eat something, and the next, you're too fat and need to diet. And sometimes, one blog or magazine is saying you're too thin while, at the very same time, another is saying you'r too fat!!! And that's the kind of thing we try to point out to them - that they can't seem to decide just what your weight is or should be, and just keep on changing their minds almost from day to day!!!....

Maybe I'm being a bit presumtious, but I think I probably speak for all your true fans here and elsewhere when I say that we don't care what they say about you, or what your weight really is - What matters to us is that you're happy with your weight and figure, and if you are, then that's more than good enough for us!! And it doesn't matter to us what your weight is, because, to us, you'll ALWAYS be the same wonderful, amazing and beautiful person that you are now and always have been!

And you're so right about not letting other people's perceptions of you dictate the way you live your life. If we all did that, life would be so boring, and we'd never have any individuality or progress. The sooner that you (and by that I mean everyone) realise that there's a lot more to life than trying to live it the way other people think you should, the better it is for everyone - and the happier you are!

I know a lot of people who do pilates and yoga religiously and they have not lost weight as quickly as you (and yes they watch their diets). One thing they do have which you don't seem to have is better muscle tone than when they started.

And honestly, you were hardly what I would call fat before you went overseas.

I think that people really shouldnt be so very very much interested in weight.
It is really stupid when everyone cares about what you eat of dont eat.
It is non of their bussiness I think... and I can say personally that it is awkward when everyone around has this "sorrows" about you...

Feeling good about yourserlf is what's important.

It's good to see that you take the problem in your own hands, and say the truth. It's sad that it has to be like this. Rumors, rumors and more rumors. I think you look healthy and fresh! Keep it going!

So, yeah, my point of view in this matter is: you're healthy. THAT'S what matters.
As long as you're healthy and happy, it shouldn't be anyone's business how your body looks (and when I say you, I mean as in the whole... universal you. XD)

The sad thing is, there are people who love to spread rumors (and not just in the media), and, unfortunately, with a little tool called Photoshop, they can deceive a lot of people that simply don't pay attention at what they're looking.

There's simply a lot of "haters" ('hate' always seems like a too strong word. I seriously doubt most people that say "oh I HATE this or that" mean it for real. Anyways...) out there that simply want to see the circus on fire.
They start rumours about anything or anyone just so they can watch people believe it, fight about it, etc...

If I don't roll my eyes at them and move on, I simply say something like "Whatever. She's healthy, she looks beautiful, and I still like her. Go on with your hate.", simply because people like that... well, in my opinion, it's not worth wasting my time with them.

But anyway, before I go on more than I already did (XD I think I have this little problem with being brief...), I just wanted to say that it's great visiting your blog, whether when you post to clear things up or when you're just posting a little piece about your life.

So, uhmmmm, yeah, I guess that's it.

Agreed! Just because you're a little fat or a little thin doesnt mean you're sick in some way. Some people are naturally thin and they can eat and eat and not gain weight at all. Good on you Mischa for being comfortable with your weight. Although it is noticeable that you've lost weight, in no way at all do you look 'ill'. Personally I don't think I've ever seen you look too fat or too skinny, and like every person your weight fluctuates. In my opinion I think you look great, both before and after the weight loss, although on the other hand I would say you are on the lower boundary of 'healthy' weight.

On another point I look forward to buying and then reading your interview in FHM but I hope it wasn't tailored completely for superficial men. I've already seen the pictures and the only word to describe them is that they are completely and utterly 'hot'.

It's wonderful to see that you are very active. Websites like PerezHilton.com make you look like you are 'jobless' or 'unhealthy', I really like the fact that you show the opposite. I find your website very interesting, viewers get a glimpse of your life, not as 'a hollywood diva' but as an ordinary person. you look stunning whatever weight you are, womens weight goes up and down depending on their life situation, when i am depressed about something my weight shoots up. Ure lucky enough to gain a few pounds and still look stunning the press just like to find faults with beautiful people.

Mischa World doesn't look so good these last weeks so : Be strong ! Forget your ego and enjoy life, simply. I'm sure there are not just around you people who wants to see you happy so be careful too. It's hard when you're a star to choose the right people, but don't worry, it's hard for anybody.

Every time I see a photo or footage of Mischa, I think "She is the most beautiful woman in the world." Brigitte Bardot in her day was considered the most beautiful woman in the world, and she had major emotional issues. So no one is immune to emotional issues. But Bardot has since thrived as an animal rights activist. So I'm sure Mischa will thrive, too.

I just love the way you look and wanted to say that.
I had a lot of self-esteem issues growning up, from people all around me, from the way I looked to the way I dressed. I'm solid looking, not fat but toned - beyonce type / ciara.
It's just hate and jealousy, you know?
for a couple of months now, I've been working out, jogging a lot, and I see differences, my body is toned, but I've realized this is just my body type and shape and just love every inch of my body.
And I think you look amazing !! and you're so sweet and different.
