Just wanted to share a short video I filmed while heading into the studios in India for the first time. I found it so fascinating so I thought you guys might as well. Enjoy!
Yeah, she seems completely off her face in this vid. Her eyes are bright though and even though visine may bet the red out it you still look stoned because the dark bags still show up. Her eyes look pretty ok so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt. Though the coughing and banter in the background is suspect. Still a funny video. Maybe she's not stoned. Maybe she's just a "deep thinker"...;)
Thanks for another great video update - Just a shame about the wind noise! And how could any video with you in it ever be boring at any point??? Please don't worry about the quality of the videos, because I think everyone here will probably join me in saying that by far the most important thing to us is that you're taking the time to make and post them. The glimpses you're giving us into what you've been doing, what interests and concerns you, and what you think about various things, really are a very precious gift to us, and we're just grateful that you're doing them for us. So I just want to say a great big "thank you" for all of the updates so far, and for all of those still to come.
That certainly looks an interesting place, and a lot more impressive than many of the back lots you see at other studios. Then again, I guess they've got the space there to build big, and from what little I've seen of Bollywood films, that's what they have to do. From the look and sound of it, you could probably get seriously lost there if you didn't know your way around the place!!...
So how much time did you spend shooting there, and how much on location elsewhere? And did you get a chance to look around there a bit more while you were there? From the sound of it, you were certainly wanting too...

To us, it just sounds like you're talking normally and trying to think what words to use to describe something that you're seeing for the first time as you're actually seeing it.

While it would be great if there was one, I can well imagine you being completely snowed under with all of the mails from everyone, so I can understand you maybe being a bit hesitant to have one - After all, do you REALLY want weirdos like me sending you e-mails!!! ;)

I think it's great that you seem to care enough about your fans to actually update this site so regularly, and I don't just mean with the pre-recorded bits. Anyway, I Loved the tour clip especially the "Let's hope I never go back to jail" That cracked me up, it's nice how open you can be.
So it's a very relaxing moment when I'm drinking a hot milk in the morning seeing what you're seeing. It seems there are many statues of angels or something. I want to erect the Statue of Great Mischa Barton someday. And engraving it "Once Great Mischa Barton Visited Here."
So sad to look someone's waste her life like that. Mischa was so talented model and actress but now everything's about smoking weed and looking shabby.:(

And just how do you figure that? Where is your evidence that all Mischa cares about is "smoking weed"?
I can only assume that all of these comments we keep seeing about Mischa sounding like she's stoned are a result of people listening to her voice in the videos. Well, if that's the case, I think you're basing your conclusions on some pretty flimsy evidence. You're probably comparing how she sounds in the videos here to how she sounds on The OC, in TV interviews, and when she's been on talk shows, am I right?
Well, if that's the case, then I think you have to realise that what you're hearing there is the "public Mischa", and not the more relaxed "private Mischa" we see in the videos here. And as anyone who's ever had to make a living from standing up in front of any kind of audience and talking to them will tell you, people do sound different when the pressure is on and they're "putting on a performance" - I know that for a fact, because I've had plenty of experience of doing that kind of thing myself. I've worked as both a college lecturer and as a guide in a museum, and both times I've been videoed doing my job. And, you know what? I sound completely different in the videos to how I sound when I'm just chatting to friends - I talk louder, sound more confident, I'm more assertive, my pronunciation is a lot better, etc. And, no doubt, it's the same for Mischa. When she's being interviewed about something, the pressure is on, the adrenaline gets going, and she becomes "public Mischa". But in the videos here, she doesn't feel the same pressure, so she's more relaxed, the adrenaline doesn't kick in, and so she stays as "private Mischa" and we hear her how she sounds when she's just chatting to family and friends. What you have to remember is that, even in interviews and on talk shows, what you see is to some extent a performance, and not 100% the "real" Mischa that we see in the videos here.
And as for her "looking shabby", well, they always say that fashion and style, like art, are pretty subjective things. So while you may think she looks "shabby", there's plenty of us who think she looks quite gorgeous and love her individuality and willingness to take risks with her outfits. So I think we'll have to agree to disagree there, won't we?

He's one of the regular posters on my forum, and he's definitely not some stalker or weirdo. He's one of the nicest and most intelligent guys you could ever hope to meet, a truly devoted fan of Mischa and all she does, and a proper gentleman - something which seems to be a real rarity here!!! And I've no doubt that if he ever does meet Mischa - and I hope he does, because he truly deserves it - he'll treat her with the respect she deserves.

At first, I thought Adrian was a girl. Because the name of Rocky's wife is Adrian. I was astonished you mentioned Adrian as "He". So I checked the name with the dictionary and knew Adrian was the name of a BOY.
I was surprised and confused, because the manner of Adrian's comment has looked that of girl's. It might look so because of my perceived notion, though. But, still in the cofusion my mind is, his/her enormous quantity of comments has at least taught me he/she is intelligent, gentle, as you said, and a very serious person with his/her job (sometimes too serious?), just I guess.
Anyway, Adrian has supported Mischa so much. His/Her attitude of No Hesitation is respectable. Now I guess in his/her previous life, he/she might have been a brother/sister, or a butler/foster mother of Mischa.

Don't worry, it's not the first time someone's thought I was a girl - Although it's usually been when they've seen me from behind and because of my long hair!! And I can understand your confusion over my name, as there's two different spellings of the name, one male ("Adrian") and one female ("Adrienne"), which are both pronounced the same by many people.

How dare you tell some one to f*** off, for expressing their love for a kind, and amazing beautiful actress, fine you can express your opinion to think that she looks "stoned" it was probably the early morning no one ever looks good when the get up, to go to work in the morning. Accepting is getting on with your life and not being pro-active, if you defend people, you have your chance to say something in this world that is going down the pan.

At first, I thought Adrian was a girl. Because the name of Rocky's wife is Adrian. I was astonished you mentioned Adrian as "He". So I checked the name with the dictionary and knew Adrian was the name of a BOY.
I was surprised and confused, because the manner of Adrian's comment has looked that of girl's. It might look so because of my perceived notion, though. But, still in the cofusion my mind is, his/her enormous quantity of comments has at least taught me he/she is intelligent, gentle, as you said, and a very serious person with his/her job (sometimes too serious?), just I guess.
Anyway, Adrian has supported Mischa so much. His/Her attitude of No Hesitation is respectable. Now I guess in his/her previous life, he/she might have been a brother/sister, or a butler/foster mother of Mischa.
And it may be strange for you that, as for me, it's curious (but not pleasure) to see the guys who mention about "drugs". They look so serious. I always think "Oh, this is the world. Silly, even sad, but exciting.". Of course they should stop such things. Mischa is just a girl. She's not a tool for them searching the meaning of life.

First : it is Mischa's website and it suppose to be for her Fans ( people who admiring her ) So, it is very normal to find people like ( Adrian ) being defending her! it's pretty normal thing for God sake!
Secondly: it's not your business ( haters ) to Criticize someone's comment! It is a free forum made especially for keeping Mischa close to her fans which they are free to express their feelings !

You must not know very much about Hollywood if you think that substance abuse keeps directors from having actors or actresses in their movies. Go read a book about hollywood movie making, wtach a documentary, or look at celebrity interviews. Their are many celebs that claim they were drug addicts while filming this movie, or that movie.
In reagrds to Adrian-clearly you are a huge fan. It is not this blogs responsibility to comment on your posts. I thought we were talking about Mischa here?!? Adrian doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, and why should he, we are on the internet here. It's not like we know each other.
If you're not a fan of Mischa, go find something better to do with your time. I do think we should stop defending her though; it just leaves the door open for more arguments. So what if people think she's on drugs? So what if gossip bloggers hate her? I just heard she is the new spokesperson for Herbal Essence shampoos so she must be doing something right.

Don't worry, it's not the first time someone's thought I was a girl - Although it's usually been when they've seen me from behind and because of my long hair!! And I can understand your confusion over my name, as there's two different spellings of the name, one male ("Adrian") and one female ("Adrienne"), which are both pronounced the same by many people.

Mischa, there are people from many countries. So, my idea is to make the field to enter one's sexuality, if it's not difficult and you have time and love this idea.
