My Christmas's with my family have always been fairly traditional.
Christmas dinners with turkey, gravy, sage and onion stuffing, peas,
carrots and parsnips. There would also be green vegetables and roasted
potatoes followed by Christmas pudding with brandy cream on top. We
would always have a fully decorated Christmas tree with all the gifts
stuffed beneath it on Christmas morning.
My fondest memory when I was a child was that every Christmas morning, gifts would magically appear under the tree and what was funny was that the gifts would almost be scattered in a trail and footprints would be leading into the room hinting that they had been delivered by none other than St. Nick himself! Just when I began to suspect it was my parents they took it a step further and hired a Santa to come in!
This Christmas, because I'm in India filming Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain, my family will be spending the holidays here with me! This will be a little different from all of our previous Christmas's but our goal is to at least manage a traditional Christmas dinner.
Take a look at the photos I included. The first one is of me and my sister Hania in New York City when I was five and she was three, and the other two are of my dogs Charlie and Ziggy.
How does your family celebrate the holidays?

Hey Mischa, excellent kid photo - you've changed more than a lot of people do from 5. Do you not remember any Christmases in London? It's not looking bad at all this year!
Enjoy it - hopefully you're not actually filming right up to the day,
Fionn x
Hi again, Mischa!
Great pictures! Ziggy and Charlie are such lovely dogs, aren't they? (And I bet you're really missing them at the moment, aren't you???) And you and Hania look so cute in the other picture too...
In my family, we've never really had a big Christmas like you used to do, but we do have a nice big meal - But we have chicken instead of turkey, because my dad doesn't like turkey (and only has chicken under protest!!!). And with it, we have stuffing, sausage meat, both roast and boiled potatoes, sprouts, carrots, parsnips and all that kind of stuff. And after that, we have the same as you - Christmas pudding and brandy cream, followed by coffee and liqueurs. For a couple of years, instead of Christmas pudding, we had a "rum pot", which is a big jar filled with fruit about three months before you need it, then a load of sugar poured in, and then the whole lot left to soak in rum - By the time you have it, it's VERY alcoholic, and when you combine it with the wine with the meal, the liqueurs with the coffee and everything else, you can end up getting VERY drunk!!!! (And that's why we stopped having it, because we were all getting completely wasted just from the meal!!!)
Hope you all have a great Christmas out there, and you do manage to get your meal. I know it'll certainly be a memorable experience for you, and we'll all be thinking of you on the day.
All my love always,
Adrian.
Mischa, you were nice in this picture! your dogs are beautiful, especially charlie ♥

Hahaha that's funny! Imagine that Mischa is really saying this : ( Check out Audrina's, Brody's, Kim's, Khloe's and Whitney's sites to hear about their holiday memories. ) do you think she would really ask you to check what other celebrities do ? Come on..
You still people believe that Mischa's who's posting here? haha that's really so stupid.
Hello Mischa,
This is Shiva from Hyderabad. I just came to know today that you are in Hyderabad. And what a bad luck, seems you visited Shilparamam -crafts village in the Hitech city and I just happen to work right behind for a Software company and could not get chance to see you or meet you:DDDD. It seems so near, yet so far!!!!!!!!!!!
However glad to see the videos. Hope & if possible could meet you someday, I would like to have a photograph with you :D
Best Wishes & wish you happy holidays!
Shiva.
Oh, "Guesto"!!!....
What a surprise to see you here again!.. So you still doubt that it actually is Mischa posting here? Try checking out some of her TV and other interviews and comparing them to the writing style of Mischa's posts here. While it may be easy for someone to just post here pretending to be Mischa, it's very difficult (if not impossible) to accurately and consistantly mimic her style of speaking or writing - both of which depend upon how a person thinks about what they're trying to say. Reading Mischa's posts, it's obvious to me that the person writing them has a very strong British heritage, which I can see in their use of language and some of the comments made. It's also obvious that they're writing "on the fly" - typing stuff as they think of it, and not just copying it from a prepared script as you seem to think. If this was all part of some carefully-prepared plan to fool people into thinking Mischa really was posting here in person, then all of the posts would have perfect spelling and grammar, because they'd have been carefully crafted to present the best possible image. Take a close look at Mischa's posts, and you'll see the occasional spelling mistake, missing punctuation, mis-typings and that sort of thing - That's a dead giveaway that the messages are being typed "on the fly" by someone with fairly limited time. And who can you think of that's in India right now (and so can get videos of Mischa walking around an Indian market), is of British heritage, and has limited time to post here? Only one name springs to my mind, and that's Mischa herself!
While you may have your doubts (and that's your right in a free society), I don't have any at all. When I read Mischa's posts here, I can tell it really is her posting, and not someone else - the use of language, the style of writing, etc, all make it very clear to me that it is her and not some faceless impostor from her management team.
And did you ever stop to consider that, like the adverts for the other celeb sites we keep getting, that last sentence may have been inserted automatically by the hosting software? It's possible it could have been, as other hosts insert adverts into posts. So why ignore the possibility that something similar could happen here too?
But please don't let me change your mind, because this site just wouldn't be the same without you, our very own Doubting Thomas!
I completely agree with Adrian, it is very obviously written by Mischa, and the adverts are automatically inserted.

My Christmases consist of watching TV in my room 'til about 11:30, then dragging my parents downstairs and we open small presents and cards over a couple of hours. A couple of hours later, I open my main present(s), then help my mum with the food. Our typical Christmas meal consists of; turkey; carrots; sprouts (yum!); cabbage; runner beans; boiled/roast potatoes; Yorkshire pudding; medium thickness gravy. I'm salivating just thinking about it!
We have a real tree, with white lights and red tinsel, with green tinsel and red beads around the living room. Our house is cold and Victorian, so you really get in the Christmas mood!
In the evening I go to my nan's house with my mum, and the rest of the family. I love it. I also love the Charlie and Ziggy pictures!
On that note, merry Christmas everyone!
Hi again Mischa!
Your picture with your sister is so beautiful.. you both look gorgeous. And I love your dog, they are soo lovely. My christmas consist in a family dinner and we are handed all our presents, but I still remember when I was young that the presents suddenly appeard I my grandfather was on the floor and he said ''Oh, Santa passed so fast the he pushed me down''. It was so funny.
I want to wish you a merry christmas to you and all your fans. Take care.
By the way, Adrian, congratulations man you are the doubters worst nightmare.. lol. Thanks again and merry christmas.
Hey Mischa,

Oh, by the way, I would love to send you a really great gift, but it seems impossible right? at least when you back to US, I could send you something since I am close to you ( Canada) right?
Merry Christmas.
Nora
It seems that on just about every blog and fan site, there are haters (Guesto), people who doubt everything (Guesto), and people who just can't tolerate other people's joy (Guesto). My guess is that the cause is some sort of misdirected anger. But whatever it is, it's being drowned out by the overwhelming love that most of us have here!
And by the way, Meesh, it doesn't get any sweeter than the pics of you and your family ^^!
Thanks for the support, everyone!!
And you're right that there'll always be doubters and haters here - And I'll always be here to put them right and defend Mischa's name and honour (As a gentleman, it's the very least I can do for her...)
Merry Christmas, everyone!!!
Let's see now, How does it go??? Oh yeah:
"Are you hanging up your stockings on the wall?
Are you hoping that the snow is going to fall?..."
;) :)
Hey Mischa!
Great pics! Everybody is saying that you must miss your dogs but I bet you took Ziggy with you to India… hehe
It’s interesting to see how different and similar the Xmas around the world can be…
I live in Brazil, but my Christmas is a lot like yours... My mom always keeps it very traditional, but there are some differences on the food, cause here we're in the middle of the summer, so everybody eats cold salads, and rice is very important in the Brazilian’s table, we eat it pretty much every day at lunch, and it’s on everyone’s Xmas tables as well. In my house we always open up our presents about a week earlier, cause my dad keeps annoying us, giving clues to what they could be (witch are always totally false) and we end up going crazy with anxiety and opening everything up… We always have a real (Non plastic) Xmas tree cause we live in the country, one and this year we did a teddy bear theme Xmas, so there are tons of them hanging on the tree, all dressed up in red and green.
So that was a really big taste of what my Xmas is like… Hope you and your family enjoy your different Xmas this year and wish you lots and lots of movies to come!
This is the first comment I publish so I would also like to add that I think it’s great you have this site so we fans can learn a little more about who you really are… And I really, really hope it’s you that writes down these posts!!!
Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!

Merry X'mas, Mischa and all your fans over the world!
Yee
wait...I thought Mischa moved to New York when she was 6??
........
No, She was 4 not 6... and she started acting when she was 8.
It's quiet here at the moment, isn't it?? ;)
As for when Mischa moved to New York and started acting, there's several different dates, all depending upon which website you go to. I think most of them tend to agree that she was five when she moved, and started acting at eight (That's what she said on the Friday Night Project) - Some websites say nine, but if Mischa herself has said she was eight, then that's good enough for me!
Hope everyone's looking forward to Christmas!!
And Mischa - I hope everything's still going OK for you there in India!...
All my love always,
Adrian.
Heeyyy Mischa your dogs are so cute!I have one too!
Well done I love holidays, and the christmas it always so magic...I love the spirit..

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!!

Hi Micha!
My family and I celebrate Christmas by going to church, making dinner ("pinnekjøtt" as we call it, potatoes, vegetables and christmas sausages. Since we live in Norway we open the gifts at night on the 24th of December. Later we eat homebaked christmas cookies, listen to carols and watch tv.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, or as we say in Norway: God Jul og et godt nytt år!
- Stine
i don't care about people who doubt you here....
i just wanna say
" MERRY CHRISTMAS MISCHA..."
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES.....
love from Indonesia....
Haha cute! But what/who are you taking a pic with? That's definitely not Santa.
My Christmas, back in the day, was a very Mexican Catholic type. Christmas Eve preparation and dinner, midnight mass in a Spanish speaking church. Then Mass again in the morning (I think), followed by presents and dinner again. Our dinners involved ham, tamales, beans, rice, carne asada, and tortillas. Not really any different from other meals, lol. But it's changed since I've grown up and no longer live with my parents. My brother spends the holidays at his in laws and I get stuck home with 1 or 2 friends (who also live alone) because my parents and majority of my family are in Texas (me in California).
When I was younger, I thought Santa was real, but I just figured he NEVER came to my house because I NEVER got what I wanted. Back then, I wanted Power Ranger toys, I got clothes. I wanted hot wheels, I got clothes. Can ya tell I was a tomboy? Lol. Take care and Merry Christmas!
-Maxi

Although I live in Spain, I am almost always back in Germany for Christmas because my family associates Christmas with snow, mulled wine etc.
Like Stine in Norway, we also have home-baked Christmas cookies according to family recipes and gifts on the night of the 24th.
My sister also insists we still tell my nephew and niece that the Christ child brings the gifts and not us, so we have the bring in the gifts very quietly and secretly.
We will usually eat out to have goose with red cabbage with dumplings on the 25th or 26th.
Hey mischa, I know it's a while after christmas, but i JUST discovered this sight. I had been looking at others and found they were totally fake. I hope this one is real. My parents are divorced so on Christmas I usually am with my mother and than go to my father's/ I have a really bag family so Christmas with the aunts uncles and cousins are usually pretty hectic. WE meet at my aunts and have a big dinner and my grandpa hands out presents. I love my family, it so big and in some ways so small. I love hearing all you have to say and keep posting. This may sound odd..but one of my life dreams is to recieve an email from a celebrity or meet my favorite actress. It would totally mean so much to me if got either of those. I am not obsessed like some people however *cough*cough*cough*Adrain*cough*cough*cough. Anyhoo keep up the good work,
Love Kellie
