OK! Magazine recently did a spread of backless dresses and included a
photo of me wearing a Matthew Williamson gown while in Cannes. This is
honestly one of my favorite dresses I've ever worn; it's not only
elegant, but fun as well!

I just want to say I linked to this site when I saw the video on the superficial and I've become a Mischa Barton fan just from watching a few of these videos posted here. I've never seen her in a movie or tv show but she seems really chill and WAY more down to earth than she's shown to be in the press. I'm glad there's someone in Hollywood who wants to use her powers for good not evil and who isn't as fake as the rest of them seem. Btw the dress is very flattering and super cute :)

I totally agree!! I love all of the dresses you wear to events like that, but it really is you that makes the difference.
My personal favourite out of all the dresses, and the one I'd most like to wear myself, is the one you wore in Cannes back in 2007 to the premiere for "A Mighty Heart" - You just looked so gorgeous that day, with that amazing dress, and your hair in that long wavy style. Personally, I think you've never looked better than you did that day.

I've got to agree with Jo about the "Mighty Heart" premiere dress, as you really did look absolutely stunning that day - total perfection! But Irvin (Meeshhead) is right when he says that you do look beautiful in everything, because you really do. To borrow and adapt an old saying:
"Clothes may maketh the man, but Mischa Barton maketh the clothes"
As far as I'm concerned, you'd even look gorgeous wearing a black plastic bin-liner! And that particular dress? Very nice indeed - maybe not to everybody's taste, but I liked it.

I do like the dress. I wouldn't call it elegant, exactly, but it's very pretty. I especially like the backless design; I've never seen a backless done like that before, and it's a very flattering cut for you.
