My Ultimate Top 10 Favorite Bands

Not surprising that a bunch of guys from Old Blighty would top your list.

I don't know a lot about the band, but intend to listen to your music of the favorite band.

Oasis virtually never leaves my MP3 player playlist, Dig Out Your Soul is a fantastic album only scuppered by a around two dud songs. Kings Of Leon and Keane are also some of my favourite bands, The Killers are pretty good as well as The Kooks for some faux-indie. Is it weird that most of my favourite bands start with a "K"? Oh, don't forget Metallica and Electric Light Orchestra, two bands that rarely feature in the same sentence.

Placebo is a great band you should check it out :)

Yeah, Def Leppard's early stuff is a LOT better than the post-"Hysteria" stuff. I'm not a huge fan of theirs, but there's some stuff I like to listen to from time to time. Never been a huge fan of America, but I can listen to them. The Band? 'The Weight' is one of my favourite songs - maybe not on my Top 10, but.... I love Fleetwood Mac!! 'Rumours' is one of my all-time favourite albums - especially 'Go Your Own Way' and 'Songbird' (which always makes me cry a bit...). And the Wilbury's?? Well, as an ELO, Tom Petty and Bob Dylan fan, I'm in heaven there!!!! The rest of the stuff I can't really comment on, as I've either never heard of them, or they've never really done anything for me.....

OK, suggestions for stuff for you to listen to?? I would say The Eagles, The Beatles and The Sex Pistols, but you already know about them, don't you??? Hmmmm, let's see......

You should definitely listen to if you haven't all ready, Band of horses (nothing like you and I, the funeral) , the perishers, the bravery (believe, the ocean....), Ben's brother (the song stuttering), friendly fires, the fratellis (tell me a lie) LCD soundsystem (north american scum), sleeping at last, until june, the walkman (red moon). There are also some swedish bands I'd like to recommend, might not understand what they're saying though.. Kent, Hakan Hallstrom, 2 of the biggest guys in Sweden :)

Like you, I'm a big fan of classic rock, and love all of that kind of stuff. But I'm a really HUGE fan of Jefferson Airplane and Jefferson Starship. If you love quality rock, then I'd check them out - Jefferson Starship have just released a really great new album, which you can check out on their MySpace site. Their new singer, Cathy Richardson, also has her own albums out, and you can hear some of her stuff at her MySpace site too.
