Hey guys! I just wanted to tell you all a little bit about one of my upcoming films, Homecoming.
I began filming it in early December of 2007, and wrapped mid-January
of 2008. We filmed on location in Pittsburgh and I had the opportunity
to work with some really incredible actors, including Jessica Stroup
and Matt Long.
I play Shelby, a small-town girl whose high school sweetheart Mike returns home from college with a new girlfriend. When Shelby realizes that Mike has moved on, she loses all sense of reason and sanity, resulting in her decision to take his new girlfriend hostage. I'd tell you more, but I don't want to spoil the ending!

Great trailer!! Some of us have been waiting to see this film for a loooong time, and now I really can't wait!!!!.....
(BTW, we have a thread about this film on my forum, with a load of publicity stills, behind-the-scenes pictures and articles, and stuff like that, so if anyone wants to check it out....)
Can't wait for this movie to come out. The role looks awesome and seems like it would have been fun to play.

These type of romance films are the funniest and scariest things I have ever seen.
Good trailer! Based on what it depicts, your character seems eerily similar to Kathy Bates' role in 'Misery.'

That trailer is very reminiscent of Misery, especially the twist of the foot compared to Misery's sledgehammer. This film looks like it is going to be a real twist on the format. That closing 10 seconds of the trailer was pretty scary! I didn't think MB could be scary, I was wrong. Definite anticipation here!

Like Jo says, we've been waiting to see this for a long time - although not as long as we've been waiting for some others you've done - and it looks really great. I can't wait to see it, and hope we don't have much longer to wait before we get the chance.

It's a shame I can't watch all your movies.My fav's are definetly Closing the Ring, your performance was truely amazing and made me cry :) + I also loved A ring of endless light because it was shot very close to where I live. it is an episode or two in one tree hill season 6 that is quite similar to this movie. with the hospital thing. hope the film comes on the Norwegian cinemas.

You're one of my absolute favourite actresses, I love you're part in OC but in other movies too. And I like the way you seem to have a different personality than the rest of the hollywood stream.

This looks like an interesting twist on "Misery," with the antagonist caring for someone she hates, rather than someone she idolizes.
Based on the trailer, your character actually seems to believe she's being charitable just by keeping Jessica Stroup's character alive. Though she maintains a nagging sense of right and wrong, which keeps her from letting Stroup die, she can't ignore intense feelings of hatred for the one who stole her boyfriend, which compel her to keep Stroup prisoner. She even seems to take Stroup's attempts to escape as an unappreciative affront to her begrudging kindness.
Alternatively, perhaps she doesn't see what she does for Stroup's character as kindness. Perhaps she just wants Stroup to suffer physically as she has emotionally and uses charity merely as a self-delusion or excuse to offer her captive.
Rather than just an overt duel between the superego and id, this film appears to be an examination of a far more complex psyche. If the trailer is reflective of the entire piece, I look forward to seeing and reviewing it.
Heey this movie seems to be amazing! I think this is typically the kind of character you are the best to play. I mean that she looks definitely much darker than Marissa Cooper in the O.C., but I'm sure I'll enjoy the way you play it because you are just incredible when you're on screen. You are one of the most talented and(and of course one of the most beautiful)actress today. I discovered you on the O.C. and I must admit that I fall in love with Marissa! I'm sorry, not with you just because I don't know you. lol anyway, I guess you'll not answer but I just wanted to know if it was true that you moved to Paris. Actually I live in Paris, and I wanted to know if it was not impossible for me to be delighted to fall on you at a corner of a street. I would also be delighted to have an answer if you could of course!

WOW misch this is probably the creepest movie you will do. it reminds me of the movie with kathy bates misery...which was really good.
